AHB Projects is the brainchild of Amira Brown who wanted to collaborate with the community in a way that wasn't extractive or exploitive and allowed local creatives to feel empowered and be compensated for their creativity.

Achievements by Amira include

Bailout Gallery: A fundraiser in which artists donated work that was sold to raise money for bailout funds in NY, CT, and MN in 2020 and fundraised for Palestine in 2021

Teaching zine and art workshops at Creative Arts Workshop, ConnCAT, Dartmouth, Common Ground and the Gaylord Hospital.

Being the 40th Annual Art Awardee by the Arts Council of New Haven.

She has shown regionally and been published in Juxtapoz Magazine and Art Maze Magazine.
